You are invited to a party.....my pity party!

I Corinthians 9:26-27 says "Therefore, I do not run like one who runs aimlessly, or box like one who beats the air. Instead, I discipline my body and bring it under strict control, so that after preaching to others, I myself will not be disqualified."
If you will humor me for a moment, I am going to have a small pity party. The above Scripture describes the opposite of me! I find myself running aimlessly lately and often in the wrong direction. I can't remember half of what I'm told because I've allowed all the "goobly-gock" "busy stuff" of the world to crowd my mind. I also box like one who beats the air....never actually accomplishing anything (but I box anyway)....leaving me tired without cause! I do not discipline my body in the area of diet and exercise...I eat lately just because it's there and as for exercise, well - I can always find some excuse not to! How then might I disciple the young in Christ or minister to those that don't know Him at all? The answer lies in the hope that each new day brings! Thus begins a new day....

My pity party invitation last week included a picture of me lying on the couch, in my pink muumuu, crying like a baby.

THANK GOD the END of these parties has come! OK girls, it's time to rejoice now for the sun has shone on another day, we're breathing, we're clothed, we're fed and we know personally a RISEN SAVIOR who is the KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS! If the earth falls into the sea today and the end is near, we KNOW where we're going! THAT"S ENOUGH TO BE HAPPY ABOUT! I too am glad you're back posting Sue! I kept checking your blog to find nothing new there! Waaaaaahh! Good to see you back in the land of the living and laughing! I love you dearly and can't wait to see you!
